Being a teenager is a lot of fun, but it's not always easy. Young Life believes that teenagers benefit from the influence of caring adults. That's why spending time with them and earning their trust is at the heart of what Young Life leaders have been doing since 1941.

Through these friendships and a lot of fun, Young Life leaders share God's love with teenagers. We believe that young people deserve to know that their lives have purpose and significance.

Around the world, Young Life groups also hold a variety of events for any college student who wants to attend. These are welcoming and safe enviroments where students can enjoy being with their mates and Young Life leaders.

One of the highlights of the Young Life experience is time away at camp where students experience an unforgettable week of adventure, fun and surprises. Whatever the setting, every Young Life gathering or event is intended to give kids the chance to experience God's love and to consider the relevance of Jesus Christ for their lives.

We are big on informing participants about spiritual issues, but there is never any pressure for participants to conform to the ideas being shared. Teens of any belief or faith background are always welcomed into our youth community and given space to make their own choices. In short, Young Life is a non-denominational, Christian organization committed to enhancing kid's lives and preparing them for the future.

For more than six decades, Young Life has been introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith, while providing strong, positive influences in their lives. In East Auckland Young Life partners with many local churches* to hold fun and informative events that help kids make well-informed decisions about spirituality and many other life issues.
